Terms and Conditions of Service for Geneziz Records

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Geneziz Records. These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Geneziz Records website and any services, products, or content provided by Geneziz Records, including but not limited to Record Label services, Music Production, Mixing, Mastering, Music Distribution, and enrollment in the Geneziz Academy. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any policies referenced herein.

2. Service-Specific Agreements

The use of specific services requires acceptance of additional, detailed contractual agreements.

Record Label Contracts: Any artist signed to Geneziz Records must execute a separate, legally binding Artist Agreement which will supersede these general terms regarding rights, royalties, and intellectual property ownership (IP).
Production, Mixing, and Mastering: All engineering and production work is governed by a separate Service Agreement outlining project scope, deliverable formats, revision policies, payment schedules, and final audio sign-off. Work begins only after this agreement is executed and any required upfront payments are made.
Music Distribution: Use of our distribution network is subject to a specific Distribution Agreement detailing royalty splits, territorial rights, term length, and procedures for takedowns and content disputes.
Geneziz Academy Enrollment: Enrollment in any Academy course is governed by a separate Enrollment Agreement detailing tuition fees, refund policies, intellectual property rights for course materials, and standards of conduct.

3. Intellectual Property and Licensing

Client IP: You represent and warrant that all musical works, recordings, lyrics, and related visual assets provided to Geneziz Records are original, and that you own all necessary rights or have obtained necessary licenses to grant us the rights required to perform the agreed-upon services (e.g., distribution).
Geneziz IP: All audio stems, creative elements, templates, course materials, proprietary mixing techniques, and software created or used by Geneziz Records remain the sole property of Geneziz Records unless explicitly assigned to you under a separate written agreement.

4. Payment, Fees, and Cancellation

All fees for Production, Mixing, Mastering, and Academy tuition are non-refundable once work has commenced or the course access has been granted, as detailed in the respective service agreements.
Geneziz Records reserves the right to withhold final masters or distribution services until all outstanding invoices are settled in full.

5. Limitation of Liability

Geneziz Records is not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use its services, including but not limited to technical errors, losses in revenue from distribution, or any claims related to the unauthorized use of your content by a third party. Our liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

6. Governing Law
